We are always on the lookout for volunteers!
We are excited to launch Engaging Generations – Letter link-up and are seeking volunteers to write to local children regularly, much like the ‘pen pals’ many of us recall from past times.
Objectives:
- To support children to think about how childhood and communication have changed over the years.
- To connect children with older people in their community.
- To encourage intergenerational relationships that can develop over time.
- To teach children about loneliness and isolation and how small things can be a big help in combating this pervasive issue.
