Join the monthly garden meet-ups for easy gardening, warm conversation, and simple learning. It’s a welcoming place for all ages and abilities to connect, share tips, and help care for our local patch.
Autumn is the perfect time to get seedlings in the ground and set up your winter harvest.
Come along to an engaging, hands-on soil workshop with guest facilitator Kate Goodman at Swan View Community Garden. We’ll dig into soil types and composition, what makes a “living” soil and the basics of pH and nutrients, then look at practical ways to restore and rehabilitate tired soils.
You’ll also get to take part in a simple activity making potting mix for raising seeds. Please bring a soil sample to analyse and discuss on the day.
Get involved: new volunteers are always welcome — come along, learn as you go and be part of something that’s growing.
Everyone’s welcome! Bring a hat, water bottle, and gardening gloves if you have them.
